From the first hours of the morning the rain threatened the semi-final in Chamonix, though finally there were no problems. Twenty-eight participants of the whole world were facing the route proposed for this Sunday morning.

Patxi Usobiaga was one of the last one competing. In the beginning of the route he was going very surely and with good rhythm. Unfortunately Patxi has jad problems with a movement in one of the forms and finally he has not managed to climb high enough to pass to the final.

In spite of feeling weightlessly and capable of overcoming bigger difficulties the competition does not leave place to mistakes. Patxi has obtained 13 º place in this competition.

The only way now is to continue fighting for the following competitions. We remember that the close one will be in Berne (Switzerland) on the 12th and 13th of September. Though first there will be celebrated two of the most popular master in the world of the climbing: Serre Chevalier (25/26-07-08) and Arco (06/07-09-08). Looking ahead there are no limits.
